Students tour Makino at Manufacturing Day 2024

In less than two months, AMIP will lead Manufacturing Day workplace tours for the Greater Cincinnati region! Celebrated annually on the first Friday in October, with events continuing throughout the month and beyond, Manufacturing Day (an initiative of the Manufacturing Institute) is a national grassroots movement that demonstrates the reality and future of modern manufacturing careers. Thousands of companies and educational institutions nationwide are invited to open their doors to students, parents, educators and community leaders. AMIP has been leading this event in the Tri-State for many years, and participation each year is greater than the last. If you have participated in the past, we invite you to join us again this year, and if you have not, but are interested in learning more, we invite you to reach out to us as we have the resources, guidance, and support you need to offer not just a workplace tour, but a great workplace tour! Consider being part of this important work in getting students excited about the prospects awaiting them in advanced manufacturing – we are all in this together!
