2026 Educator Externships Are Here!
Externships provide educators with valuable experiential learning by allowing them to engage in activities in real-world manufacturing facilities, helping them to understand how classroom content and learning strategies are applied within Advanced Manufacturing. This firsthand exposure will enrich classroom pedagogy, connect classroom content to real-world applications, and better prepare students for future MFG careers.
Here is how it works:
Two educators (together) visit your company for two days (8.00 – 3.00) to learn about your operation, shadow different roles/departments, and hear from various staff.
Educators create a presentation and a project to bring back to their students to spread the word about the amazing MFG career opportunities at your company. They will present this work to your leadership team at the end of their two days.
Your company pays each educator a stipend of $250 - a $500 (total) cost to you).
